I really like point-and-click games. I've played more than my fair share off them, and this isn't one of the best I've played, but it's certainly not a bad one either. In fact, there's something about it that gave me a good vibe. I think I just like the character.
I have two complaints about this game. The first is the length. I know you rushed it, but it was still hardly long enough. It only took me like 15 minutes. My other complaint is the difficulty. The only spot that required me to think at all was the safe. It was way to easy. Please, if anything, bump up the difficulty in the next game.
I can't think of much more I would complain about. The graphics were good, the voice acting was good, the music was fitting, and the story was at least a bit interesting. Some of the dialogue was a bit cheesy, but that I don't mind.
So, good luck with your future projects. I'll be looking out for the next game.
Happy Halloween!

I saw the icon for this, and I immediately had the impression that this was a sprite movie. I watched it with low expectations (I didn't read your comments), only to be completely surprised.
I loved it. It's nice to see video game parodies/tributes with such great creativity. You made my day, and I thank you.
Author's Response:
Maybe I should change my icon? Though I don't know what could represent my flash otherwise than megaman himself.. Thank you for your comment, I'm pleased that you liked it!

Well, I found this surprisingly funny. Why do you have to use clock voices for the characters, though? Not that I have anything against clocks. It just seems lazy... but considering the insanely accurate lip syncing that's probably the point.
Author's Response:
It's just way faster to type something in, then to record my own voice and edit it in.

Flashes are too complicated. What's wrong with a nice short and simple toon every now and then? The lazy art style, average voice acting, and tweening is what makes this the most amusing, because it fits the retarded story. I might sound like I'm insulting it, but everything I'm saying is actually a compliment. Mediocrity at its best, I would say.
P.S. I want to see pirate and ninja fight! :<

I'm honestly at a loss as to what I should say, but something keeps telling me to give you a 10. Did you secretly insert some sort of subliminal message in there, you sneaky little bastard? ...har har, kidding, of course.
What a completely messed up song/video.

Good movie, good message. It didn't really do anything to strike my feelings, however, but I still fully understand the meaning. I've cried from plenty of flashes, but this just didn't do it for some reason.
Moving on to the flash itself; it was pretty good. I think the atmosphere was fitting, and the music worked nicely. I thought the children conveyed their emotions very well when they were speaking. I do have a few gripes, though. The most major being that the lip syncing could have been better. It was definitely off at times.
Overall, I did like it. Nice flash, sir! =)

Nice comment, buddy.
Your meticulous attention to detail is quite impressive. We would definitely strive to do better next time. Thanks.

I really like your frame-by-frame work. The dancer moved very smoothly, and realistically, and flowed with the music fairly well. I'd have to say I'm a bit jealous of his moves.
I liked it, but it didn't wow me. Yes, the feel was good, and the animation was very good, but overall it seemed a little bland. The character isn't the most exciting, and the background is very plain. It's simply a little guy dancing to a song on a black (and flashing color) background. The ending was funny though, hehe.
Lastly, in all honesty, I didn't like the song, but that doesn't change my review. You picked the song because you like it, and I respect that.
Certainly a good first submission to start with. Keep up your amazing frame-by-frame work, and expand upon it.

thanks for being honest. this is what a review should look like.
and yes, i completely agree with you on most points. im actually quite surprised at the popularity, given the fact that the entire movie was made with just 2 layers. yes. its a very simple looking flash. the character is simple, the background is solid throughout. but i'm glad people are okay with that and take it for what it is, a fun, jazzy experiment with frame-by-frame animation. its just fun to watch, even if its not exactly eye candy
and thanks for not knockin me cause you don't like the song. it fits the piece, just not everyone's taste.
thanks for the review. ur swell

This is simply one of the best, and most engaging point-and-click games I have ever played. The fact that this game was made all the way back in '03 makes it even more impressive. (Actually, '02, because I did look at your profile and see how you previously submitted this game. I'm not sure if this has any changes, but I assume it does.)
Look at this game, the art/graphics are absolutely phenomenal. I certainly haven't been on the flash scene for 5 years, but I know how impressive this is for its time. The environment is perfect. It almost felt as if I was being drawn into the game, like a spell. Also, I love the character designs. They're creative and beautifully drawn.
Only complaints I have are that a few times when I was walking I kind of got stuck. It happened at the beginning and one time later. Luckily, I was able to get moving around again. I was also having a few issues with standing/ducking, and firing on the boss. No, I didn't have Caps Lock on. Also, even though I personally like the music, a mute button never hurts.
I have no idea why this, and the first game are stuck with only 15000-16000 views, and have obviously never been front paged. My only guess is that this could have... possibly... been stolen. Probably not, and I can't make any accusations because this is far too old. Either way, I demand a front page, even if it is 5 years old.
Really sweet game. I'm glad I dug this up.
